Installation and Integration of Equipment and Systems

PATS supports OEM’s and end use customers to develop procedures and documentation associated with equipment installation and integration with current customer operations. PATS’s experience performing technical installations in high traffic environments provides our customers with realistic feedback regarding conditions and requirements necessary for the installation and integration of systems to ensure that the flow of commerce remains high.

Development of a system installation plan is part of an overall integration program. The system installation plan takes into consideration the operational requirements and objectives of the customer, the type of system that is to be installed and the facility and environment in which the system will operate. Regulatory requirements are considered throughout the installation planning process to ensure that the system performs within regulatory guidelines.

PATS provides professional installation of hardware and software/firmware in addition to structural modification, fabrication for installation, as well as construction planning and oversight. Installation kits are often developed with the OEM during the planning process. System installation kits may require additional materials based on location and the available local infrastructure. System installation kits generally include the following items:

  • Hardware
  • Software
  • Mounts and/or Brackets
  • Special Tools and Equipment
  • Templates
  • Documentation

PATS’s unique combination of operational planning and implementation experience in conjunction with our proven technology sustainment history ensures that security technologies will be successfully deployed and managed so that the end use customer receives the maximum equipment benefit and minimal disruption to current operations.
